A few years ago, I had the great fortune to build a small gingerbread house with a little help from a local friend who is now my husband.
We spent a few hours on the roof making gingerbread tiles, and we are very proud of our work.
Here are the tips we used to make our gingerbread houses look just like this one: 1.
You’ll need a 3-inch square of gingerbread or white chocolate cake, a cookie sheet, a wooden dowel, and some glue.
Once you have your gingerbread, cut the edges off.
Make a line from the bottom of the gingerbread to the top of the cake.
You should end up with a long, thin line.
Using a wooden skewer, carefully cut the line.
Use a wooden nail to keep the edges in place.
Once the ginger is cut, you can use your fingers to glue the edges of the white chocolate to the cake, and then you’re done!
